While out on the cruise you more than likely to see Seals, Dolphins and Penguins racing alongside the boat, Whale watching is also a great pastime, in the famous Algoa Bay. The whales are seasonal and one should enquire at the information kiosk about their availability. Here you can expect to see the Southern Right and Humpback whales are frolicking in the bay, as they return back to the deep waters to calve. Speak to your lodge or hotel about arranging commercial dives as there are many dive venues in the area and some incredible places to experience under water wonders. If you remember to pack your mountain bike on your campervan you will be pleased to know that Port Elizabeth has a large mountain biking community and a number of good mountain biking trails are available.
