The convenience of using a campervan for your holiday is that you need only basically pack some clothing, food for the road trip and fill the tank, to start your vacation. You can affordably rent a campervan for a month and go camping.
The best part going camping is the early morning wake up, on the day of the journey. Grab some sweet warm coffee and maybe toast if you got time. Then it is time to head off out on the open road. It is always best to try leave before the heavy traffic, when planning a trip to the coast. Try and make as much ground as you can before the city begins to wake up the daily commuter chaos consumes the roads. Once you have cleared the city limits and begin to move further out into the farming regions, the roads stretches out to the horizon, like black macadam, ribbon. It is only when you do a road trip do you get a feel of how big South Africa actually is. All the major freeways are in good repair and offer petrol and rest stations that are dotted along the key routes. Some of the smaller hamlets and off-beat towns have slightly rougher routes and you will be glad to be driving your 4x4 campervan.
