One of the best places to sightsee in South Africa is the Cape Province. So when planning your holiday, choose to rent campervan for a Cape Town tour. The Cape does get very busy during the holiday season and accommodation is often hard to come by. With your own campervan, it is much easier to find a place a little out of the main city of Cape Town and enjoy the natural beauty while staying in a camping resort. The Stellenbosch and Worcester regions both have beautiful camping locations with spectacular sea and mountain views. One such site is on the way to Roe Ells, a council owned park that runs parallel to the sea and has the best views across the bay of Simons Town and Table Mountain off in the distance.
It is also an excellent fishing spot and particularly in season, when some huge crayfish can be caught in amongst the rock pools. When you tire of one coast line, you can always head off in the other direction along the N7 motorway and find the West coast. Large parts of the region have not yet been developed and the small towns dotted along the coast between Cape Town and Simons Town are well worth visiting
